Chaos Cards was founded in 2011. It’s a well-respected supplier to the UK’s trading card communities. They stock an unrivalled number of products for the most popular collectable card games, like Pokemon.

Chaos Cards' challenge

Chaos Cards had an ambitious vision: to become the UK's ultimate trading card store. To achieve it, they planned to combine a traditional bricks and mortar retail experience with online trading.

Why Evo?

Chaos had an existing ecommerce site, but the platform wasn't performing. They needed a new partner to help unlock the potential of the concept and convert online.

A big part of measuring success would be reliability and speed: the store would need to provide a seamless, intuitive experience.

Since launch, our sales have increased, on average by 250%. They have gone out of their way to help us make the relaunch such a great success and I look forward to many more years of working with them.

Experience is everything

With the user-experience driving our ideas, we worked with the Chaos team to design an elegant new UI that was underpinned with a serverless architecture.

We designed from the ground up to ensure the experience could scale to the incredible demands their customers could throw at us as new products were released.

Since the website launched, we've seen some incredible results, but it's how we're helping the team evolve that really excites us.

From developing a bespoke in-store EPOS offering that integrates with their website, to creating a warehouse solution that allows the team to pick, pack and ship from a handheld barcode device – we're only just beginning to explore what's possible for Chaos Cards.
